Well we chose the Toyota. I liked that I could get upgrade options without having to buy the higher priced model. I love it!!!! We went to rent movies the other night and Lee and the kids stayed in the car while I went in. Normally, Jackson would cry because he wants to go with me and Morgan would cry because she doesn't like sitting in the car. I had been in there for awhile because I couldn't find anything good to rent. When I came out both kids were quietly watching Polar Express and Lee was kicked back relaxing. Lee said, "This is worth every penny."

It's listed as metallic grey, but it looks blueish to me.

Weight Watchers

I got on the scale the other day and almost fainted, so I joined weight watchers. I think I can do it because I can still splurge every now and then. The fact is that I've got to do something. This is getting out of hand. If anybody has anything really good and low in points, I'd love to know. Wish me luck!

Which one?

Now that I'm done with school and getting a nice raise, I'm getting a new vehicle. We've narrowed it down to the Honda Odyssey or the Toyota Sienna. I'm very indecisive and I'm going to have this vehicle for a long time, so any input would be appreciated.

Update

Well, our new years was fine. We went to Lee's parents and shot fireworks. I was actually up at midnight, but not by choice. FLASHBACK: Brooke, do you remember when we shot fireworks in the middle of your road and mine backfired into my stomach and burnt a hole through your shirt and I accidentally cussed in front of your mom? Oh, memories:)
We had a little cold snap and it actually got down to 18 this night which is cold for here. We actually lit the fireplace and cozied in front of it. This is only the 2nd or 3rd time we've used it in three years.

I went back to work today which was difficult getting up so early, but the kids don't start back until Wednesday so it wasn't too bad.

Well, I am not the mother of the year, but tonight we had family home evening for the first time in a looong time. I bought these family home evening on DVD things. There actually pretty good and they come with an activity book that goes with it. At the end, Jackson volunteered to say the closing prayer. He actually said the whole prayer by himself and included things we had talked about in family home evening. We were so proud! It was one of those moments that makes up for all the other ones where he drives me crazy. Jackson didn't want to go to bed and Lee was getting frustrated. I said, "Just remember the sweet prayer in family home evening."
