Happy Belated Father's Day

We had a good Father's Day weekend. It was also Lee's 29th birthday, so it was busy. Jackson actually went up on stage and sang "I'm so glad when daddy comes home" with all the other children. He wouldn't do it at Mother's Day, so it was a really big deal. Here's a tribute to all our fathers.

This is my dad (papa) with Morgan.
This is Lee's step-dad (pawpaw) being silly with Jackson. He and Jackson fish and hunt and do all those boy things together.
This is Lee's dad (grandaddy) holding Morgan's hand at the autism walk.

This is Lee with Jackson on the day he blessed him.
This is a scanned picture of Lee holding Morgan when she was born. My how the time flies.

He's so cute

Well, according to everyone around me, I'm late on discovering Jon & Kate plus eight. I watched it for the first time about two weeks ago. I've watched it a few times since and Jackson likes to watch with me. Yesterday we were watching it and he said, "Mom, can we go to their house?" It was so cute.

She learns fast

Morgan likes running around the yard in the sprinkler even though she cringes when it hits her. Twice this week we turned it on and let her play outside in it. When the sprinkler wasn't on, she brought it to me once and then she was messing with the water hose the other day. Today she went outside to play, and the next thing I knew, the sprinkler was going.

It didn't take her long to figure out how to get it going.
She will play out there for hours and get soaking wet.
