Wednesday night we had trunk or treat at church. Afterwards, we went to Dad and Sandra's house to get the goody bags Sandra made for the kids. Today at school, Jackson's class walked to the Senior center and sang songs. Tonight, Lee took Jackson down two streets before he had to leave for work and then I took him and the other kids down the main road in our neighborhood. When we got home, he handed out candy to the kids still going around. He really liked that. When we ran out of candy that I bought to give away, he started giving away his trick or treat candy.

Random pictures from today
Today was a busy day. Jackson had a birthday party at 10:00, practice for the primary program at 1:00 and Lee's niece's birthday party was at 2:00. I managed all of it by myself with all three kids since Lee is working 12 hour nights and was at home trying to get some sleep. Lee's mom did keep Morgan during the 10:00 party for me though. It was hectic but I survived. These are some pictures from tonight.
Morgan fought a rose bush at Lee's sister's house and lost. Notice the scratches on her nose and above her eye. I'm just glad it didn't catch her actual eye. The roses are growing on a fence and Morgan loves to walk along fences and drag her hand. I'm not sure exactly how it went down because I wasn't out there.
Jackson's random question of the day while we're driving to the 10:00 birthday party:"Mom, where does Cory live?"
Me:"What Cory?"
Jackson: "The one in our family."
He of course was referring to my sister Christy's husband but it was really random because they live in Utah and we have only seen them a few times since Jackson was born. Christy was here not too long ago but Cory and the kids didn't come. Funny what he comes up with.

Brotherly Love
I knew Jackson would love having a sister, but I could never have imagined how obsessed he is with her. He wants to be beside her and love on her 24/7. When I put him to bed, he wants her to lay with him and while I sing to him, he sings to her. She's the first thing he looks for when he wakes up and the first thing he asks about when I pick him up from school. It is soo cute.

Harvest Days
Friday Jackson's class took a field trip to Landmark Park.
First they made a scarecrow.
This is his class with their scarecrow named "Farmer."
Then a man tried to talk to them about peanuts but they didn't really listen. He then let them pick the peanuts off the vine.
They saw some pigs.
Pet a hen.
Fed a goat.
And went to the pumpkin patch. This is not the pumpkin Jackson ended up leaving with but was the first one he picked up.
Then we went on a hayride. This is Jackson and the other two stooges from his class. After the hayride, we played on the playground and ate lunch. It was fun but rather warm for October.

Lillian is growing and occupying basically all of my time. She is sleeping better at night, but has gotten quite spoiled to being held.

Lillian Pearl Byrd
Lillian finally arrived Monday at 3:59p.m. I went to the hospital that morning at 5:00. It wasn't too bad. I only pushed for about 20 minutes. We are now home thankfully and enjoying her. I could just sit and hold her all day. I think she is a mixture between Morgan and Jackson, but we'll see as she gets older. My pictures are out of order.
Here she is after having her picture taken at the hospital Wednesday.
Mel came over today, so we were comparing the girls. Abby looks like a giant and a ghost compared to Lillian.
Aren't they cute?
My three children.
We're trying to force Morgan to recognize Lillian. I think she does, but is ignoring her on purpose.
This is Monday. Jackson has been beside himself waiting for his baby sister. Everytime she cries, he has to say "it's okay big brother's here"
Morgan on Monday oblivious to anything except that people are taking pictures.
Lillian all snuggled up Tuesday.
Dad and Sandra with the kids.
Lillian bright eyed on Tuesday.
