Special Olympics
Thursday was our annual Special Olympics here. Morgan always participates in the 50m run and the softball throw. It was quite a warm day, but it was good overall.
Morgan wouldn't cooperate walking so I had to pull her in our wagon.
Each year members from the police department run from the other side of town carrying the torch. This is them arriving at the field.
I was trying to get a picture of Morgan with her friend Madison from her old school, but she just wanted somebody to open those fruit snacks!!!
This picture was intended to show her two ribbons, but she wanted a drink. She won 1st place in the 50m but she was the only one racing:). She won 4th in the softball throw. She doesn't care for that very much and she just throws it at her feet.

Easter Fun
We had a busy weekend. Yesterday we went to Lee's parents' house for lunch, fishing and egg hunting. Today we went to church, went to Dad and Sandra's for lunch and egg hunting. We then came home and took a nap. Jackson got a kite from the Easter Bunny so we went to the field behind the school where I work (which is right down from the house) and flew the kite while Morgan ran around. The pictures are backwards.

Jackson waiting patiently for a fish.
Jackson actually caught this catfish all by himself. It was his only catch of the day besides a turtle.

Ward Easter Egg Hunt
Our ward Easter egg hunt was Saturday. Jackson had a good time but the wind was unreal.
Jackson was really excited about his tomb as you can tell. He was being really clingy to begin with.
He loves bubbles.
He was snatching eggs left and right. They were only supposed to find 12 eggs a piece. He had picked up 20 before I knew it and there were still plenty to pick up. I made him give some to another little girl and he didn't like that. I couldn't find anybody else who didn't have their 12, so I think we ended up leaving with 16.
Alabama Shakespeare Festival
On Friday, I took 45 7th grade boys to see The Count of Monte Cristo at the Shakespeare Festival. The play was awesome of course and the boys had a good time overall. There was one part where they threw the guy into the "water" and seriously two seconds later he was on stage in a completely different outfit. We were all amazed, but we learned the trick afterwards when we got to chat with the actors. I think it is too cool that we have something so amazing here in old Alabama. We went to Cici's pizza for the all you can eat buffet afterwards so they really enjoyed that.

Time Out for Women
Friday and Saturday I went to Time Out for Women in Tallahassee. It was really good. The speakers were great and the music was really good too. Hillary Weeks was my favorite and if you like her, she has a new CD coming out in September that you have to buy. It has two awesome songs on it that she sang Saturday. Just about every topic was covered and they kept us laughing and crying. Sunday, March 2, 2008
Doctor's Appointment
I want for my first visit on Friday. They did an ultrasound and said that everything looked fine. He did move my due date up to October 5th because the ultrasound had me a little further along. Fun stuff.
My how time flies!
Thursday night we celebrated Jackson's 4th birthday at Kid's Kastle. He had a great time and a lot of his friends showed up from school and church. I can't believe he's four!
Jackson wanted a hunting party, so a guy that I work with made this cake for me. And if you read Heather's blog, the reason the kids were wearing camo is because I put it on their invitations.
Jackson and Lauren were trying to play the dancing game without tokens.
This is at the beginning. Probably four or five more kids came in a little late.
This is Jackson and his buddy from school Tanner.
He got a lot of good gifts. He now has his own set of golf clubs to play golf with Lee and he got a crow call. He's been practicing calling the birds and then shooting them down with a nerf gun he got also.
