Weight Watchers

I got on the scale the other day and almost fainted, so I joined weight watchers. I think I can do it because I can still splurge every now and then. The fact is that I've got to do something. This is getting out of hand. If anybody has anything really good and low in points, I'd love to know. Wish me luck!

The easist way to loose weight on WW and not be hungry is to fill up on low point fruits and veggies. That's why it was hard for me. I don't like veggies and only a few fruits. I lost weight on WW, but I was hungry alot. I did sometimes eat baby carrots with ranch dip made from FF Sour Cream and the dry ranch mix. Most dishes can be made with LF or FF stuff to make them lower in points. If you want specific suggestions, call me. It would be too much to list here.

eat lots of fruits and veggies and no snack cakes or chips or soda or candy. drink lots of water and have salad with a little vinegrette dressing. the wonder white weat bread is high in fiber so it's like only one point a slice. a slice of bacon is only a point and an egg isn't too bad either. so you could have a nice healthy and tasty breakfast for not too many points. basically you need to change your lifestyle and eat healthy whole foods and not processed foods or sugar filled foods. i know it's not easy to do but that has been my goal because if i say i'm on a diet then it seems i'm always hungry but if i just say no to junk and fast food and try to eat healthier then it automatically gives me more calories for less points and i'll be healthier for it. i just can't starve myself. i'm really grumpy and lazy if i'm hungry. i think taking a multivitamin daily also helps and trying to exercise but i rarely get around to any formal exercise. guess i'll just have to count all the times i run up and down the stairs every day.

I did really good on WW. The key is to find things that are filling but low in points. Like a peanut butter sandwich on light bread for breakfast. Also, eat snacks like fruit, granola bars, pretzels, etc. And if you know you are going out to eat at night, do really well during the day. Regular Dr. Pepper is out (I know you love it) and lots of water. Get those crystal light packets b/c like you, I don't like plain water. A low point snack/breakfast is 2 slices of light bread (1) with spray butter (0) and splenda and cinnamon (0). So you get something sweet for 1 point! Or WW ice cream which is usually 1 or 2 points. Good luck. I need to go back with you.

Eat lots of fiber. Kellogg's- All Bran- Bran Buds has 50% RDA of fiber in 1/3 of a cup. I eat it with WW yogurt for a snack and it's only 2 points. If you get high fiber wraps they're usually only 1 point and you can spread it with 1 Tbsp. light cream cheese and 6 thin slices of turkey breast for a total of 3 points (of course you can add lettuce, onion etc. for free). I also love salad greens with cottage cheese (2 pts. for 1/2 cup of low-fat--don't get fat free b/c it has lots less calcium) and rosemary. Yummy! I could go on...I'll e-mail you some more ideas.
Be sure and drink your water!
GOOD LUCK!

kfc has a great bbq sandwich that is 4 points I think. And I think krispy creme donut-the glazed are only 4 too. Yum Yum.
