Alabama Shakespeare Festival

On Friday, I took 45 7th grade boys to see The Count of Monte Cristo at the Shakespeare Festival. The play was awesome of course and the boys had a good time overall. There was one part where they threw the guy into the "water" and seriously two seconds later he was on stage in a completely different outfit. We were all amazed, but we learned the trick afterwards when we got to chat with the actors. I think it is too cool that we have something so amazing here in old Alabama. We went to Cici's pizza for the all you can eat buffet afterwards so they really enjoyed that.

You missed out. You should go next time you come down. The girls had already been so I was being fair.

I hope you weren't the only teacher that went. When we went in high school, some of the black kids were yelling back at the actors on stage. We were asked to leave at intermission and not allowed to go back ever. They should've just made those few go sit on the bus until it was over. It wasn't fair to the majority who were behaving.
